Facebook finds making fun of Sarah Palin...
I just tried to post the Sarah Palin quote generator to my Facebook status (http://palinquotes.awardspace.com/) and was greeted with a message saying that my status contained content that had been marked as offensive by Facebook users. So I tinyurled it and put it up anyway. Has anyone else ever had this happen?

Google Takes a Stand on California Gay Marriage... →
Google, in a post signed by Sergey Brin, came out today in opposition of the anti-Gay Marriage Proposition 8 in California. From a business point of view, it raises some questions. Is it wise to have company wide political statements like this? There are certainly many successful Christian companies out there, but should Google be so clearly positioning themselves with the California left? Is...
If You're Marketing to Young Men, Your Company... →
New poll finds that 85% of people think companies should interact with them through “social media” websites. Especially the young and men. These numbers are much higher than I would suspect and shouldn’t be ignored. If you work with a product or service marketed to men or youth, grab a Facebook and/or MySpace account depending on your income and education level demographic. ...

SemantiFind - Semantic catalog of the Internet →
Semantic search is so obviously the future of search. Only the savviest users actually understand advanced search operators and full semantic search will solve this issue for the common user. SemantiFind is a new Firefox extension (ie coming soon) that makes searches from google.com (not the toolbar) work semantically. Pretty cool.
Small Favors, Big Success →
An article going over how getting someone to do a small favor makes them more likely to do a big favor for you. What is interesting is not that this is true, but the ridiculous percentage increase in some of these studies.

Playing with IE8 Beta
Have to say all this hype about IE8 passing the Acid test doesn’t seem that exciting when I see how its working in the real world.
Now. To be honest, I only visited three sites before I felt compelled to come here and complain about IE8.
Two of these three sites (facebook.com and boston.com/sports) experienced some weird css behavior with IE8. Facebook’s dropdown menu’s were...
Google to Offer its Own Browser: Chrome →
Googles new browser: faster, less memory, yada yada.
The important part is that it includes Google Gears by default. Offline web app access included by default is the next step in making the OS more about the browser than the OS and harpooning Microsoft’s market dominance (and lets be clear, its Google, not Apple, that has the best shot of doing this.)
